Our client a high fashion ladieswear supplier to High Street stores throughout Europe are looking for a person with design experience and skills to work in their sourcing office in Gurgaon, India.

The role will involve creating commercially acceptable designs, working alongside the design team run by the companies owner. The role will also oversee the manufacture of samples, dealing with suppliers and agreeing prices. You will need good technical skills in order to ensure a high standard of samples and where necessary make pattern alterations.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a small team and working closely with suppliers. The candidate must have good commercial awareness and experience of dealing with Indian companies and products.

Ideally you will have worked in India and have a good working knowledge of Indian production, suppliers, fabrics etc.

The role will ideally suit someone from a tailoring background.

Experience in multi skilled machine sewing and pattern cutting is essential.

This is a full time role.

Our Client a leading wedding dress and accessories manufacturer based in Taunton, Somerset have an immediate full time vacancy for a Production Supervisor / Sample Machinist.

You will be required to undertake your own stitching work whilst overseeing a small team in terms of problem solving, training and staff motivation.

The successful candidate will be an experienced machinist, with some experience in team supervision or training.

You will be required to undertake your own stitching work both bu hand and using sewing machines.

The successful candidate will be an experienced hand sewer and sewing machinist.

Salary: £20k - £25k dependant on experience

An experienced pattern cutter working with the designers on the creation of new patterns for couture bridal gowns and grading patterns for production.

Hours :  full or part time

Our client is a major international manufacturer of predominantly menswear for major US, UK and European retail outlets.
They are looking for an experienced pressing manager to be responsible for all aspects of pessing room production within their Egyptian manufacturing unit.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Factory Manager you will manage all aspects of production within the pressing section, responsible for approximately 100 employees.
You will be a hands on manager with good motivational and problem solving skills. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to develop supervisors to a higher level and to meet the requirements of their customers. You will be focused on increasing productivity, reducing costs, improving quality and meeting deadlines.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role in mens formal suit manufacture in an offshore factory is essential - We will require previous employee references as proof of experience and for visa purposes.
A good command of the English language both written and oral is essential.

The Package
The right candidate will receive a salary of upto £30,000 (or equivalent in Euro's, US Dollars or Egyptian pounds) plus ex-pat benefits (Housing, flights etc if applicable).
